There was a time back in 1970’s when nobody understands the need for healthcare facilities. Back then most doctors were persuading medicine or surgery as their career. Taking radiology as the branch was really challenging because nobody understands it’s needed until recent times. Dr. Sunil Mittal was one of the doctors to pursue radiology in that time. After completing his undergraduation (MBBS) and post-graduation (MD) from the elite and prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, he moved to New Delhi for his senior residency. After 5 years spending at Safdarjang Hospital, University College of Medical Science, New Delhi and Moolchand Hospital, New Delhi, he returned to his hometown Aligarh (UP West).

He started his own diagnostic centre in a small place at Aligarh when nobody knows about the ultrasound. Days, months and years went by and after 30 years of practice, Dr. Mittal has become the most famous brand in the field of radiology. The vast experience and skilled knowledge helped him to expand his vision beyond ultrasound. He started another diagnostic centre which harbors each and every modality, all under one roof. Dr. Mittal hard-work pays him in the form of establishment of 150 bedded super-specialty hospital in the western UP (Aligarh) and A full-fledged Ayurvedic Institute in Bhankari, (UP).

His journey continued to inspire many of young radiologist. His contribution in the field of Medicine especially is Radiology is unparallel to anyone. Involvement in various medical associations, journals and CME’s denoted his active participation. He was elected as President of IRIA, Aligarh Branch; President of Private doctors Association, Aligarh and President of Indian Medical Association, Aligarh.

He has chaired many CME’s and events in spite of his busy schedule. He still holds the most number of ultrasound scans done at any centre regionally to his name.
